Welcome to Arnot Manderson
Arnot Manderson was formed in January 2008 by the merger of two of the oldest and best respected stables within the Faculty of Advocates.
As well as being the largest stable at the Scottish Bar, its 14 senior and 47 junior Counsel also represent an unparalleled depth of experience across the civil and criminal business of the Scottish courts.
The Stable is absolutely committed to maintaining the highest standards of legal work, whilst continuing the very best traditions of the Bar in Scotland.
Our aim is to continue providing solicitors and other organisations with a source of first class legal expertise which can provide a cost-effective solution to their litigation and dispute resolution needs. We hope that this website will demonstrate some of the ways in which instructing our advocates can assist you in providing an excellent service to your clients.

The event will begin with Coffee & Registration at 9:00am and the first area to be covered will be a Legal Perspective on Child Interviewing in Scotland followed by a talk on a Structured Approach to Interviewing and the NICHD Protocol. After the morning break we will discuss Putting Theory into Practice and look at the first of two case studies. The morning will be rounded off by a question and answer session.
The afternoon sessions will start by covering Forensic Interviewing Research followed by the second case study and questions. The final session of the day will deal with Undesirable Practices and again there will be discussion and questions before the event closes at 4:40pm
